Frequently asked

How do I create my first lesson plan?+
Head to Create a Lesson, pick a grade and subject, describe what you want to teach, and we'll generate a print-ready plan in about 60 seconds. You can then edit, download, or print it from the lesson page.
Can I edit a lesson after it's generated?+
Yes. Generated lessons are a starting point — open the lesson from your dashboard to make changes, swap activities, or adjust the pacing before printing.
Are lessons aligned to standards?+
We align to Common Core and supported state standards where you select them. Always review the alignment for fit with your district's scope and sequence before classroom use.
How do I cancel or change my subscription?+
Open Billing & Subscription from your account menu to manage your plan through our Stripe customer portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period and you keep access until then.
I was charged but my account didn't upgrade. What now?+
Stripe occasionally takes a moment to sync. Sign out and back in, or refresh your billing page. If it still hasn't updated after a few minutes, email us with the email on your account and we'll fix it right away.
Do you offer refunds?+
We handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis. If something didn't work as expected, email support and we'll make it right.
Can I use generated lessons in my classroom?+
Yes — lessons, worksheets, and sub plans you generate are yours to use with your students. Reselling or redistributing generated content commercially isn't permitted (see our Terms).
I forgot my password.+
Open the sign-in page and click "Forgot password" to receive a reset link. If you signed up with Google, sign in with Google instead of a password.
How do I delete my account?+
Email support@homeroomie.com from the address on your account and we'll remove your account and associated data.
