Homeroomie is an AI-powered platform that generates lesson plans, worksheets, and printable educational materials for teachers. Content is generated using artificial intelligence and is intended as a starting point for educators to adapt and customize for their classrooms.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Homeroomie offers free and paid subscription plans. For paid plans:

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you believe a refund is warranted.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

5. AI-Generated Content

Content generated by Homeroomie is created using artificial intelligence. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies or errors and should be reviewed before use in a classroom setting.
• You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and adapting all generated content to ensure it is appropriate and accurate for your students.
• Homeroomie does not guarantee that generated content meets specific curriculum standards, despite best efforts to align with them.
• You retain ownership of any modifications or additions you make to generated content.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit generated content without authorization
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other means to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

7. Intellectual Property

The Homeroomie platform, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by Homeroomie and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use generated content for personal educational purposes. The lesson plans, worksheets, and materials you generate are yours to use in your classroom.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose. You use the Service at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Homeroomie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages related to the use of AI-generated content in educational settings.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Any provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
